ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello,
You have what it seems to be acute follicular tonsillitis.
This could happen and does not need to have the partner with some infection. It is caused caused by bacterias found on the skin and is not related to STDs.
You should consult an ENT specialist and get examined , if required then sample can be taken from the pus for culture and for testing the bacterias sensitivity for various drugs.
You need to start antibiotics and anti inflammatory medication.
In doubt do reply.
