What Could Be The Recurring Cyst Behind Ear?

Hi, I had a cyst behind my ear near my ear lobe. My doctor put me on 1 corse of antibiotics but it didn't go away. So I was then put on a 2nd corse of antibiotics which did reduce the size but didn't completely go away. Now the lump has turned black. What could it be?

in my opinion benign cyst always need to be removed surgically. antibiotics play role if they are infected. discoloration indicates hemorrhage in it. I would recommend to get it excised. and proper removel of its wall will cure it permanently.
