What Could Be The Redness And Pain In My Eye?

hello, for a couple of days my left eyes has been blood shot around the tear duct. its not full of blood in the area but the veins are visable and the surrounding are is a bit pink. Today its started to become painful when i blink and i gtet a stabbing pain above my eye. what could this be?

This could be dacrocystitis. Apply antibiotic eye drop and andantibiotic eye ointment. Take analgesic anti in famatory tablet like combiflam twice daily after food.It will be normal within one week.
