What Could Be The Stabbing Intermittent Pain In The Shoulder Blades?

I have a stabbing intermittent pain in my back right in the middle of my shoulder blades. It comes and goes, and usually occurs at random sides, someimes left, sometimes right, and sometimes in the middle, right on the spine. I also get headaches nd pins and needles randomly. I sometimes get cramps in my legs but not for a while. Whats wrong with me?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The stabbing intermittent pain in the shoulder blades can be due to muscle stiffness or due to spondylotic changes in the spine. Taking oral muscle relaxants with hot compress and regular physiotherapy can help in improvement.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Praveen Tayal, Orthopaedic Surgeon
