Thank you for responding. My husband is 68. He has numerous allergies and food sensitivities which affect is gut. He has had urinary tract issues since childhood, when an accident caused a stricture and recurrent scar tissue. 2-3 operations- UTI s--. no BPH. Was prescribed a med used for BPH but had complications. OTC pyridium for urgency and burning causes GI symptoms. His body is so sensitive to foods and meds. His diet has been simple to eliminate allergens. So, If there is a different med that can be taken for burning and urgency, please advise.
