What Could Be The Whitish Yellow Very Thick Jelly Like Discharge During The 39th Week Of Pregnancy?
39 weeks pregnant and went to the bathroom to urinate and a whiteish yellow very thick jelly like discharge came out what is this? I m also 2 cms dilated but not effaced and the babys head has not engaged yet this is my second child first came naturally 37 weeks .

The thick discharge is called mucous plug which was covering the cervix. As the cervix dilates the mucous plug is discharged per vagina.
there is no need for concern as you have completed 38 weeks.
expulsion of this type of thick discharge is generally followed by Labour in a few days.
