hi doc this time last year i some polpys removed after heavy bleeding all was fine untill a couple of months ago and i started to bleed again not as heavy though never problems like this before iam 54 this december could i be going through the change please help thank you
Hello and welcome to HCM. As an Urologist, i can fully understand your concern. The bladder polyps can recur anytime. That's why a regular scan is advised. Once bleeding develops,you must see an Urologist, with following reports : 1. urine routine and culture. 2. blood routine, creatinine, RBS, platelets,BT,CT,PT and LFT. 3. CECT scan.(contrast CT scan).This is essential for proper evaluation. With these reports,the Urologist may decide if, cystoscopy needs to done. Dr.Matthew J. Mangat.
