OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi, I have gone through your question. Clexane is low molecular weight heparin and is known to decrease the coagulation ability of the blood. Hence, some patients taking it develop clots or bleeding from nose, vagina etc.If it is necessary for you to take clexane for your medical condition, then I would suggest you to take progesterone support in the form of capsules and injections to support your pregnancy. Moreover, do consult your OBGYN specialist to get your Anti Xa levels done so that the dose of clexane can be reduced if required.
The clot needs to be monitored on serial ultrasounds. I would like to reassure you that small clots usually resolve with advancing pregnancy, but you need to be in constant follow up of your doctor.
Hope this answers your question.
Wishing you good health.
