What Could Blood In Stools Suggest?

Hi I m in urgent need of help lately when I pass stool I ve been bleeding at first it was small droplets which would turn the water bright red I ve been having this almost a good 6 months now today I went to the toilet and there was sooo much blood and clots the whole toilet was covered in blood also it almost feels like I m leaking inside my anal but I m not sure can you help me? Thank you

There can be many reasons for blood in stools. Depending upon the color of stools that can be bright red to blackish brown. It can be ulcerative colitis or hemorrhoids if its bright red in color. Also sugestive of disease of lower gastroenteric tract. Another reason for this can also be chronic constipation. There can be many serious reasons too for blood in stools.
