What Could Blood Rush In Head With Heart Palpitations Suggest ?
Not sure if this is gonna make sense but Ive been feeling like this for about 3 weeks. I'm constantly confused, dizzy, feeling sick, no appetite, headaches, some nose bleeds. It also occasionally feels like all the blood in my body rushes to my head in seconds and then my heart races its palpatations and i end up more confused than I already am. I'm a full time mum and I get scared that I won't be able to focus on anything and my little boy will get upset... please help me
I passed carefully through your question and would explain that your symptoms could be related to different possible causes: anxiety, chronic anemia, hypertension or any other metabolic disorders.
For this reason, I recommend consulting with your attending physician for a careful physical exam and some tests: - a resting ECG - a chest X ray study - complete blood count for anemia - thyroid hormone levels for thyroid dysfunction - fasting glucose - kidney and liver function tests - blood electrolytes.
In the meantime, I would recommend monitoring your blood pressure during the day. Blood pressure fluctuations can lead to this clinical scenario.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Wishing good health,
Dr. Iliri
