I have been having the smell of blood in my nose for 2 days. I have not recently had any type of sickness, or illness that could contribute to bleeding in the nose. I have had no bloody nose either. This just started about 48 hours ago, I am just concerned that it might mean something. I have a hyper sense of smell as well, I can smell things that a lot of other people can t. I don t know if that makes a difference, but the smell of blood I have been experiencing, overrides all other smells.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted your history of bloody smell in the nose. This indicates that there is a mass in the nose whioch has a bit bleeding hence the smell you are getting . I would suggest the following in such a case: Get a clinical evaluation and examination by an ENT Surgeon to find out the exact cause. CT scan will further help to see what the problem is. You may need a long treatment with an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines or may need surgery if there is a surgical cause.
