What Could Bruising With A Lump In Arms Following A Fall Indicate?

My shoes were wet from rain and when I came out of my trailer/ mh slid down 2 steps. I landed on my elbow. At first I thought I broke it. The inner, right, elbow (an inch below) immediately swelled. It was painful and happened fast. Its been about a week. Severe bruising has occurred covering about 6x3 sq inches of my arm. I am able to bend elbow with no pain, move all fingers. But a quarter size lump has remained. My right shoulder blade is sore now. It hurts for me to stretch. I Iced it the first night. The lump feels numb when I touch it and remains close to the skin over the muscle. Is this a normal healing process?

Hi,

I have studied your case with diligence

Do ice application, and thrombhophobe ointment may help and give rest to elbow and wrist.
You can apply crepe bandage for support.

You may need X ray of elbow and shoulder to rule out any minor fracture.
You can consult your doctor by taking appointment, apparently it does not seems like emergency.
