About a week ago I started to form a red tender bump next to my nipple on the areola. I have gotten these before and didn t worry at first. As time went by it never seemed to decrease in size, and is now showing a purple/black spot in the middle of it. If I run my fingers over it, it gives me a burning sensation. I m 22 years old and very worried it could be serious. Any feedback would be appreciated, I plan to go to my local clinic tomorrow, but would like a different opinion here. Thanks!

i think it is nothing to worry that much as it is an abscess or an infected subareolar cyst
a simple FNAC test and USG could confirm this condition
all the best............!
