What Could Cause A Person To Get Choked?

What could cause a person to get a choking, gag type
Feeling for no apparent reason, or when it is cold outside,when excited, nervouse,like a job change. After singing a few songs. Been having this happen since I was about 18,I'm 32 now. Been getting a little worried about it.

Hi. I can understand your concern.
You could be having asthma or simple anxiety.Possibility of asthma is more in your case.
So better to consult pulmonologist and get done clinical examination of respiratory system and PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
PFT is needed for the diagnosis of asthma.
It will also tell you about severity of the disease and treatment is based on severity only.
You may need inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS)
Don't worry, you will be alright.
