What Could Cause A Pink Spot (no Pain, Soreness)near The Anus?

Hi, I noticed I have a pink spot on the left side of the opening of my anus. It looks like the skin was removed from just that spot. It doesn't feel sore. It does not hurt or anything so I was wondering what cold it possibly be. I am African american so to give you a visual everywhere elase is black except that spot that is pink.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
This red spot could be an erosion formed due to trauma, abrasion, frequent scratching or due to irritant dermatitis.
Avoid using soaps, dettol, savlon in the area. Apply a steroid antibiotic cream like fluticasone mupirocin combination twice in a day. Hopefully it should resolve in few days. If it does not, please meet a doctor for a proper clinical examination.
Hope this helped.
Take care
