What Could Cause A Tingling Sensation Around The Anus And Pain In The Tail Bone?

So on Friday night I felt a tingling on my bottom around my anus. At first I thought it was pin worms because I work at a vet and one of my coworkers had had them a few days befor. So I got Reese pin worm meds. But I didn’t notice any in my poop or any other signs of them. It still felt the felling sat and Sunday night. Now Monday there is a slight burning sensation there. I checked and there’s no sign of rash or anything visible. I also have some pain on my tail bone don’t know if it’s related or not but just thought I cover everything in case it’s related.

Hello,

It is called paraesthesia, seen in spinal cord compression or tailbone injury or chronic perineum pain syndrome etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. agent it done MRI spine, blood sugar and Thyroid profile. Along with that local examination is needed.

If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
