What Could Cause Abdominal Cramp?

Hi, I have been having really bad cramping the last 3 days. They feel exactly like the cramps I would get from a period. The thing that worries me is the fact that there is no blood. My stomach even cramps as if the blood is trying to come out but just never does. Is that normal?
