Abdominal pain Feel like there’s a blockage in bowel movements but not constipated. Stomach hurts after eating and after going to the toilet and then sporadically throughout the day. Pap smear normal. Cervical biopsy normal. Blood tests normal. Watery discharge (have put a pad on because of heaviness) 27yo Mum of two. Sore nipples, Areola lumps are swollen and it hurts when I touch nipples.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Most probably it is due to hormonal changes and called as fibroadenosis. As a first line management, you can take analgesics like mefenamic acid for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
