Hi, Sprintec is a combined contraceptive. It needs to be taken sincerely at fixed time daily for having desired effect. It seems you have taken the pills irregularly that can cause hormonal imbalance with bleeding irregularity. But in case of missing pills, there is possibility of conception with nonviable pregnancy which starts aborting which explains heavy bleeding you have. Similarly few more gynecological conditions can cause heavy bleeding All of these need to be excluded. Please consult your gynecologist for physical examination followed by investigations like USG pelvis to find the cause and advise you specific treatment. *Home care till then, take rest, have light nourishing diet, drink sufficient water, keep good genital hygiene and take over the counter Cap.
