What Could Cause Bad Roaring Sound In Ear With No Help From OTC Medications?

Thank you. I have a bad roaring in my right ear. It has been with me about 2 months. I am currently taking an over the counter med (only for 3 days) but it hasn't helped a bit. I just had a knee replacement about 5wks ago and know I should go see an ENT but haven't yet.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if the problem is in one ear then this need to be examined the wax impaction has to be ruled out and for that you have to see the ENT surgeon, hope this information helps you, have good day.
