What Could Cause Bitter Mouth Taste?

Hi i have a bad, bitter taste in my mouth which I ve had on and off for a couple of week. Yesterday i was sick - diarrhea and vomiting all day. Today its just the watery diarrhea but he taste in my mouth is worse and i ve noticed i have lumps on the back of my tongue like lots of little blisters- although they don t feel sore. Any advice on how to clear up the bad tatse/lumps on the tongue/diarrea? thanks

I can understand your concern. The bitter taste in mouth is related to the stomach upset you are experiencing. As you are having diarrhea and vomiting, you are also having acid reflux, meaning the acid of stomach regurgitates in your mouth through esophagus with vomit, causing bitter taste in mouth along with formation of blisters on the back of the tongue.

I would advise you to visit your physician for the physical examination and investigations regarding the vomiting and diarrhea along with acid reflux disease. As the stomach problems will be solved, bitter taste and sores on the tongue will be cured.

In addition, drink lots of fluids to prevent excess water loss from body and dehydration.
