What Could Cause Bleeding At 8 Weeks Of Pregnancy?
I am 8 weeks pregnant and have had almost no symptoms of pregnancy except multiple positive pregnancy tests. I have seen a doc at 5.5 weeks and could see the cardiac muscle forming and starting to beat. But I am now experiencing bleeding and I don’t have an OB and need to know if I need to know if I need to know if I need to go to the ER.
You are confirmed that you are pregnant as you had an USG done in which heartbeat of the fetus was noted. Presently, you are having bleeding. You are suggested to stay at rest and stop doing any heavy work. Sometimes, bleeding occurs due to penetrative sexual intercourse. The underlying health condition like placenta previa or abruptio placenta may also cause sudden unexpected bleeding.
You are suggested to stop any king of sexual activity. Stay away from smoking, alcohol or drugs of any kind. You are advised to visit ER, get clinically examined by a GP / gynecologist. Get blood tests and Ultrasonography done to detect the position of the placenta. You will be prescribed medicines to stop the bleeding and given urgent support to help you and fetus get comfortable. Take adequate amount of water and fluids. Take food in time.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
