What Could Cause Blood In Mucus While Vomiting?

Hi,

Whenever I'm sick (vomiting) I get bright red blood come up right at the end of being ill - mixed in with all the mucus etc. I've been getting that for the last year or two now and it started after university. I'm usually sick when I drink to get drunk now whereas I never used to be. Can you help?!

I really appreciate your concern, if this is really symptoms of hematemesis then it demands the great deal of investigation to rule out the gastrointestinal pathologies, cardiac disease and other systemic causes, first this is to confirmed the blood in vomiting, if this is confirmed then next would be imaging study of GI system till then I would suggest to try Tab Omeprazole 40 mg Domperidone 20 mg once in day, hope this information helps.
