What Could Cause Bradycardia During Bowel Movement In A 52-year-old With Pulmonary Stenosis?

Hi, I am a Male 52 Non Smoker. Born with pulmonary stenosis. Valve repair at 7 and replace at 30 yrs old. Diagnostic with Afib after surgery taking Inderal 80mg LA (propranolol) with Digoxin .125 in the mornings and an additional Inderal 20mg at night. In the last 3 months I am having bradycardia when toileting (loose stools) and today happened when I had a strong sneeze. Any idea?

Hello,

Consult a cardiologist and get evaluated.

You have to get serial ECG to rule out possible causes like arrhythmia.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
