What Could Cause Brown Menstrual Bleed?

Hi how are yu.. I am having brown blood as a replacement of my regular period blood. Is this normal to have brown blood your whole cycle. I know that brown blood is just old blood
But wat else could cause this.. also I had sex the day after I finished my period last month unprotected

The impact of the unprotected intercourse on the course of events is based on the length of your menstrual cycle; if you happened to be in the fertile period during the incident, you have pretty good chances of conception. You should exclude/confirm pregnancy through either a HPT with a fresh early morning sample or better still, an assessment of the serum beta-hCG titres. If pregnancy can be excluded, this menstrual derangement points to some hormonal imbalance and this should be attended to. Hope this helps.
