I have gone through your query regarding burning sensation in ear after putting antifungal ear drop as you are having fungal ear infection.
This is very common in otitis externa cases as there is always errosion of epithelial lining and all antifungal agents (clotrimazole) is always gives burning sensation over infected skin. To manage it you may put otogesic drop prior to candibiotic so you will find that there is no burning at all.
Regards.
