What Could Cause Choking And Breathlessness In An Infant While Being On Zantac For Acid Reflux?

I have a 2 month old, sometimes when laying on her back or in her car seat she will start to choke and will stop breathing if I don t pick her up fast enough. She usually will spit up less than an ounce of saliva. Her pediatrician put her on Zantac for acid reflux but it hasn t helped and I she don t have any of the same symptoms that come with acid reflux. What else could it be?
