What Could Cause Chronic Fuzzy Sensation In Ears?

I have this fuzzy sensation in my right ear that has come and gone for over a year now. I ve tried peroxide and wax softeners and even talked to my doctor about it. She just looks in my ear, tells me there is no wax, and dismisses the subject. It s extremely annoying and distracting. Any ideas as to what is causing this discomfort?
