What Could Cause Chronic Vomiting And Inability To Retain Any Food?
My sister has been throwing up for several years now. She has been to gastro doctors with no success. She is getting smaller and smaller. There appears to be nothing wrong with her stomach. She can only keep cokes down. I was wondering if she could possibly have rumination syndrome. She is now getting very very depressed because of not being able to keep any food down. As we speak she is in the emergency room, so dehydrated that an IV is very hard to put in. I am at home doing research on the internet trying to find anything that will possible help her. What could this possibly be. It is just not normal. The phenergan that the gastro doctor gave her will not even stay down. She is basically starving to death. Please help.
