Hi,

Delay or irregular periods can be due to pregnancy, Stress, over or low body weight, PCOS, Thyroid problems, anemia or a type of abortion if you are pregnant.

I advise you to:
- Do Serum beta HCG test and USG pelvis to rule out pregnancy

If no signs of pregnancy then:
- Check hemoglobin levels
- Thyroid function test
- Do YOGA and stress management
- Nutritious diet rich in protein and iron
- Exercise

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Yogapriya Vasudevan, General & Family Physician
