Hello dok, i gave birth for last 3 years and till then I never get sexual intercorse again just last 2weeks ago and I supposed to get my perios on feb19 but its already feb 25 and my period hasnt come yet. i asked my boyfriend if he cum inside but he said NO. What would be the meaning of this? Am I pregnant?
Hi, Thanks for asking. You have not mentioned about using any prevention method to avoid pregnancy so I suppose that it was an unprotected sexual act. It would have been better if you could have mentioned the period day of the sexual act as it is possible to get pregnancy from the 12-16th day of the menstrual cycle. As you have missed the cycle for more than 7 days, you should get your urine tested for pregnancy better with the early morning cycle. More over you should get tested for any sexual communicable disease which your partner could be having. It is better to consult your G.P./ sexual health clinic or venereal clinic what ever is available. You should be careful in future to always use some safe sex method right from the start of the act. I hope this will help you to understand and will guide you what to do now. You are welcome to ask any further questions. Dr. Azeem MBBS, MCPS, MRCGP
