What Could Cause Delayed Period, Spotting And Tender Nipples, When Pregnancy Test Is Negative?
I had unprotected sex Oct 31. I have irregular periods. I've taken pregnancy tests, which show negative. I have had spotting and discharge starting mid Nov. And have been on and off. The spotting started very dark brown. I did have incredibly tender nipples for one day.I've also experienced some nausea but nothing severe. Since my pregnancy tests are negative, could I still be pregnant or could something else be wrong?

I understand your problem and I would like to advise you that in two conditions female experiencing pregnancy like symptoms, one when she is very much eager for pregnancy and 'second when she does not want to be a pregnant, and in both the conditions pregnancy test turns negative, no need to worry just relax and take it is easy the spotting and irregular period always get alright just wait for right time every thing will be fine have good day.

These symptoms could be due to Very early spontaneous abortion, or due to luteal phase deficiency ( hormonal disturbances). It is better you consult doctor, who can send you to laboratory for blood HCG evel, to rule out any evidence of pregnancy. You may need to go for scan . you have not mentioned your age. As you have history of irregular menses, it is important to consult doctor to confirm the diagnosis. If you want pregnancy, then it is important to know the cause of irregular period, and to treat the cause. If you do not want pregnancy, then you take proper contraceptive measures, so that you do not come to this situation again. After ruling out some contraindications, and with proper counseling you may take some hormonal contraceptives to regularize your period.
