What Could Cause Dizziness, Weakness And Blurry Vision After Gabapentin Intake?

my dr put me on a dose of 400 mg gabapentin once daily before bed. I have been on it for almost a week, and I am shakey and dizzy, I keep getting dark spots in my vision when I stand up. I called my dr. yesterday for that, but this morning I woke up and I feel like my legs are weak and im having a hard time walking. I called my pharmacy and they said to stay on it for another week, and see how it goes, but im kind of worried about why I am feeling this way, it seems kind of dangerous to have my legs go numb and to have a feeling like my legs are falling asleep

Hello.The symptoms that you refer are side effects of Gabapentin.
Usually with the passage of days adverse effects decreasing but if not so,your doctor should consider to decrease the daily dose.
