What Could Cause Foul Green Bile In Hernia Patients?

I certainly hope so. For many months now I have had nausea, vomiting foul dark green bile, stomach pain in the upper part of my body and food makes me ill. I have a hiatal hernia, however, my gastroenterologist says it is small. What could be causing my misery? I have thought of death but that is not the answer. I just want to feel better.

Dear- thanks for using our service and understand your frustration of feeling sick. Definite, death is not the answer, because we have a lot of reason to stay alive. You might be having a gallbladder problems that gives you the nausea and vomit with green bile. However, other possibilities as pancreatic lesion or inflammation should be considered. Hiatal hernia can give you reflux, but if is small, it should not give you these dramatics symptoms.I recommend you to go back to your doctor and tell him/her all of these complaints,you will benefit from a CT scan of the abdomen with and without contrast.
