Hello,
Foul smelling urine is commonly indicative of UTI, bladder or
kidney infection, yeast infection,
hormonal changes in women, etc. Certain medications, supplements,
vitamins also cause foul smelling urine. Keep well hydrated,
dehydration causes strong bad smell when you urinate. Taking more of onions, garlic, sprouts, cumin, coffee, fish, etc. in the diet changes urine odor.
You are suggested to get clinically examined and get done
urinalysis (C/S and R/E). Your treatment will depend on the diagnosis made and the reports of the urinalysis. You may be asked to get done required blood tests and imaging tests. A course of antibiotics will be a part of the treatment. In case any underlying disease is detected then it will also be treated.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
