What Could Cause Green Stool In A 4 Months Old Child?

Hi My 4month old daughter is passing green frothy stools for the past 2 weeks and doctor had suggested to give Oflox Syrup. Her stool and urine routine tests shows negative.
Is it advisable to give Oflox, after couple of dosage she had become restless and dull.

Greetings of the day

Green stools are usually do to not adequately giving hind milk from breast . I would suggest you to empty first breast completely before starting feeds from opposite breast.
Antibiotics like ofloxacin are not indicated as they themselves are known to cause antibiotics associated diarrhea.
