What Could Cause Green Stool In A 7 Weeks Old Child?

my great grandson has green motion from time to time, he seems to thrust a lot until he is red in face and cries quite a lot, I wonder what causes this, he is on formula milk, he does seem healthy otherwise, he is 7 weeks old, his mother tells me he is not constipated.

Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Throwing thrust and red in face suggest the possibility of non specific intestinal colic.
If other things are fine like , baby is gaining weight adequately then there is no cause for concern.
Children on formula feed sometimes have green stools. If there is no distension of abdomen then there is no cause for concern.
In case you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Wishing you happy and healthy life

Take Care
