Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Could Cause Increased BP And Drop In Heart Rate?
When I do physical activity my blood pressure rises but my heart rate drops to low 30s. It even dropped as low as 25. However I feel fine. No dizziness or any chest pains etc. I would have expected the heart rate to go up. I did have Herat attack in 1990 and 2000. I had two stents put in 2011 after angiography found two arteries blocked.

hi looks like you are on betablockers to control the heart rate after your angioplasty. it can cause relative bradycardia. if you do not have any symptoms of dizziness & chest pain & heaviness,it is really good. i still suggest you to get evaluated once again with your cardiologist,to check out for the angioplasty & cardiac status & your sugar & electrolyte levels. all the best take care
