What Could Cause Intense Burning In Feet And How To Treat It?
Hi there. I have a burning sensation in my both feet usually at night and when I walk for a while. The pain (burning sensation) is so intense that I practically have to get up from my bed at night to dip my feet in cold water. It is ongoing for two years getting worse day by day. My doctor prescribed me with Naproxen and Gabapentin. But I really don t feel like it s going to work for me. what s your suggestion?
Your symptoms seem to be related to a peripheral neuropathy. I suggest to continue using Gabapentin to relieve the symptoms. I also suggest using Capsain cream for local application. If the symptoms continue, I suggest to consult a neurologist for further evaluation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
