What Could Cause Irregular Brown Discharge From Vagina?
Im having abnormal discharge from my vagina and it's a brownish color sometimes light red and im not due to have my period until August 10th and this has been happening for three days and it itches around the anal area and vaginal opening what should i do ?
If you are sexually active, then abnormal brown discharge needs to be concerned. Implantation bleeding should be ruled out. Do home pregnancy test to clear confusion about pregnancy.
Later, you may need to undergo one blood test for beta-hCG and Trans Vaginal ultrasound scan to rule out underlying pathology or product of conception.
Other reasons are endometriosis, old blood, endometrial tissue, hormonal imbalance, stress/ depression, vaginal/ pelvic infection etc.
Please consult with gynecologist for complete health check up with relevant investigation. Take proper medication if required.
Maintain genital hygiene. Avoid mental stress. Practice safe sex in future. Good luck.
