What Could Cause Itching, Swelling And Redness In A Finger?
Two nights ago my pointer finger started to itch really badly and minutes later swelled up There is a little red spot on my finger. My finger is starting to be in more and more pain the swelling has not changed. Its more on the palm side of my hand. Do you know what it could be?

Hi,
You seem to have developed an allergic skin disease.
You should avoid applying any kind of skin irritants like dettol, spirit over it.
You might need to apply a topical steroid cream over the affected area twice a day for few days.
Take some oral antihistamines along.
See a nearby dermatologist if the condition tends to persist despite this therapy.
You might need a course of oral steroids.
