What Could Cause Light Period?

I had my total hysterectomy just over a year ago. Without fail, each month for the past 6 months I ve been experiencing a light period - every 25 to 28 days, back ache, pain etc I ve had both cervix and uterus removed have suffered with endometriosis for 20 years

Was the ovary removed during surgery? If it is not removed you can be on regular OTC pills to avoid cramps.
