What Could Cause Light Vaginal Bleeding For Over 18 Days Instead Of Menstrual Period?
Im 20 years old. I have a regular period. But last aug 2018 I dis not have a regular period instead I experienced a vaginal bleeding or a vaginal discharged for over 18 days. It started from Aug. 20-Sept. 6. It is like a light flow at the end of the menstruation but for my experienced from the day 1 up to the last it is just a light flow? What it is? thank you for answering my worry

Hi,
If you are married and trying for a baby. You should get USG pelvis scanning to exclude possible threatened abortion. This scan would show any ovarian problem causing the problem. Also, thyroid function needs to be tested for (thyroid problem can cause such irregular bleed too). Finding the cause would facilitate regulating your periods. You should consult an endocrinologist. In case the problem repeats.
