What Could Cause Me To Pass Bloody Clots (big), Unlike Period Flow, Am Nearing Periods And Have Cramps?

Not to long ago i went to the restroom like i normally do, but this time when i looked in the toilet I saw a big bloody clot. I am not on my period yet, but since I will be expecting it in a few days I have had some cramps. After I saw the clot I wiped myself several times to see if I was already on my period, but I wasn't the paper came out clean. So if I'm not on my period how come I am passing clots?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

The cause for such a presentation could be any of the following: hormonal imbalance, abnormality in inner lining of the uterus, abnormality in uterus, etc.

The best thing would be to visit your doctor and request for an elaborate evaluation consisting of a transvaginal ultrasound, hormone level check and possibly even a hysteroscopy (if required).

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
