What Could Cause Nose Bleeding Followed By A Piece Of Blood Meat Coming Out From The Nose?

well, my nose started to bleed , then i blew my nose and blood came out. then i folded the tissue paper to stop the bleeding, stuck it in my nose. when i took it out, a piece of blood meat came out of the nose and my nose stopped bleeding. what in the world is that gob of bloody meat. actually blood?

Hello,
Thank you for posting the question on HCM.
I have reviewed your symptoms as you have quoted of having bleeding from the nose and the blood clots.The reason for the nasal bleeding should be ruled out. The most common causes of Nasal bleeding are
Blunt trauma,Foreign bodies, nose-picking,respiratory tract infections, Hypertension, chronic sinusitis, rhinitis and some Infectious diseases.
I would have advised
1.Direct pressure
2. Application of Phenylephrine
3.Application Silver nitrate
4.Topical antibiotic ointment.
As you have told regarding blood meat it is not a meat it is nothing but a blood clot. Nothing to worry but reason for the nasal bleeding should be ruled out.
