my face gets like a numbess , i can feel it when i touch my face. going on for a while. it almost feels really tight and dry. i keep rubbing my face. weird feeling . i spoke to my dr a few times about it and she keeps saying she doestnt no what it is.
You seem to have developed a contact dermatitis of the face. This is basically an irritant or allergic reaction over the face. Such an allergy can develop due to various reasons including the usage of any new creams or cosmetics. You should avoid application of any cosmetics or new creams over the face. You should avoid applying any kind of skin irritants like dettol, spirit over it.
You might need to apply a topical steroid cream over the affected area twice a day for few days. Take some oral antihistamines along. See a nearby dermatologist if the condition tends to persist despite this therapy. You might need a course of oral steroids.
