hi doctors! my wife gave birth a child about 20 days ago ..her vagina get ruptured and she get stiches ..now stiches are removed but she says that she is feeling light pain and puss is comes from the place of stiches ..i m personally a medical student ..please tell me the treatment ..

Hi,

Keep the stich area clean and dry with hot water with antiseptic Dettol. Oral antibiotic and anti-inflammatory drugs would hasten the healing. Have a look at stitches to exclude gaping. She may need restoring if it's there.
