What Could Cause Pain In Feet And Difficulty In Walking In A 58-year-old?

Sudden pain in foot when I woke up a few days ago. Barely able to walk. Pain feels like is from a cramp. Pain has subsided and now other foot is the same. I did not fall. 58 year old male. On Losartan 100/25 HCTZ and Atenolol 25MG. Wondering whether it coul be side effects.

Hi,

You need to check your uric acid level in the blood in the first place as its increase can cause this pain, especially in the morning.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Salah Saad Shoman, Internal Medicine Specialist
