What Could Cause Pain In The Abdomen And Bloating After Eating?

I am a 60 year old man and am not overweight. I have pain in the middle of my abdomen and bloating after eating. I sometimes feel as thought the food doesn't go down properly. My ankles are swollen in the evenings. I generally feel bad but keep trying to do my regular exercise and work.

Welcome to Health Care Magic and thank you for posting your query in Health Care Magic, i understand your concern.
Pain and bloating sensation of the abdomen after consuming food could be due to Acid Peptic Disease (gastritis in general terms) or due to Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
I suggest you to reduce taking spicy food, and to take capsule omez 20mg twice daily before food.
drink 4-5 litres of water per day and reduce smoking and alcohol if you are on them.
Swelling of your ankle could be because of your weight , increased blood pressure or cardiac issues.
Its better if you an ECG, ECHO and routine blood investigations done and consult a physician with your reports.
Try reducing your salt intake in food and also try reducing weight if you are more than your ideal weight range.
