What Could Cause Painful Cramps In Stomach, Watery And Rice Looking Stools With Little Blood?
Hi, since saturday night i have been having excruciating stomach cramps and have been pooping water galore, linguini and rice looking feces. And last night some bright red blood too. i havent eaten anything out of the normal. i have no idea what is going on.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history and understood your concerns. Rice- looking watery diarrhea , blood in stool with excruciating pain can be due to gastroenteritis. I would advise you the following: Consult your Doctor to get the clinical evaluation, investigations of stool and blood and ultrasound of abdomen. Get a course of an antibiotic, metronidazole, probiotics. Oral fluid and electrolyte balance. Activated charcoal, banana and yogurt helps. Oral Pantoprazole and other symptomatic treatment as needed.
